Coach Anthony Iannone – Head Girls Varsity Basketball Coach

Now entering his fourth year leading the Glen A. Wilson Girls Basketball program, Coach Iannone recently completed his third season as Head Varsity Coach. His tenure has been marked by the continued rebuilding and growth of the program following the challenges of the COVID-19 era.

Coach Iannone brings over two decades of basketball experience as a player and a coach. A proud alumnus of Servite High School, he competed for three years in the renowned Angeles League, facing off against elite programs like Mater Dei and St. John Bosco.

His coaching journey spans youth, high school, and club basketball, including prior roles at St. Mary’s Elementary, Servite High School, and El Dorado High School, where he also served as Girls Varsity Head Coach. In the club circuit, he has contributed to top programs such as the Yorba Linda Pumas, OC Rhythm, and Open Gym Premier.

Currently, Coach Iannone also serves as Director of Club Basketball for the PTBA, overseeing the development of athletes and coaches. His leadership in youth sports includes time as a board member and chapter director for Yorba Linda NJB and President of the Pumas program, which produced multiple college players, including NBA draft pick KZ Okpala.

Basketball is a family passion—his oldest daughter is an assistant women’s basketball coach at Tufts University, and his youngest just completed her sophomore playing season at Fullerton College and will be joining the coaching staff this summer.


Varsity Assistant - Rochelle Aguirre 

Coach Rochelle Aguirre completed her first season as an Assistant Varsity Coach at Glen A. Wilson High School and currently serves as the Director and Girls' Head Coach for 3 Point Wolf Pack Basketball Academy.

Originally from Quezon City, Philippines, Rochelle played varsity basketball at Nogales High School, earning team MVP and All-League honors. She continued her basketball journey at Rio Hondo College before transferring to Cal Poly Pomona to complete her degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Pedagogy. While at Cal Poly, she stayed active in the game through the university’s women’s club basketball team, helping them win a championship in her final season.

Coach Aguirre brings over a decade of experience coaching at the youth, high school, and club levels—including roles at Ayala, South Hills, Nogales High Schools, Jones Middle School, and YMCA Fullerton. She holds certifications in First Aid/CPR, NFHS Coaching Fundamentals, Concussion in Sports, and more.

She emphasizes communication, discipline, effort, and a strong team culture, always aiming to help players grow both on and off the court.


Head JV Coach - Jasmine Arnold

Coach Jasmine Arnold recently completed her first season as Head JV Coach for the Glen A. Wilson Girls Basketball program. She is a passionate and dedicated leader who brings both playing experience and a strong commitment to mentorship and development.

Jasmine played high school basketball at Cypress High School before continuing her career at the collegiate level, competing for two seasons at Fullerton College. Her background as a student-athlete provides her with valuable insight into player development, work ethic, and the demands of competitive basketball.

She is currently attending Cal State Dominguez Hills, where she is pursuing a degree in psychology with plans to become a licensed therapist. Coach Arnold is passionate about using basketball as a platform to build confidence, mental resilience, and teamwork in young athletes.

Her goal is to create a supportive and challenging environment where players can grow on and off the court.


JV Assistant Coach - Amya Iannone  

Coach Amya recently concluded her second season on the Fullerton College Women’s Basketball Team. Her playing experience includes two seasons at Fullerton College and her high school years at El Dorado HS and Esperanza HS. Additionally, she has served as a JV and Varsity Assistant Coach at Glen A. Wilson HS. Amya also brings extensive club-playing experience from organizations such as Open Gym Premier, OC Rhythm, and Nike-sponsored Cal Swish.
